Small Business Commerce Association’s Award Honors the Achievement

SAN FRANSICO, November 7, 2009, Street Dogs Event Marketing has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Marketing consulting services category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA)

The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce that Street Dogs Event Marketing has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Marketing consulting services category.

The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.

Street Dogs took second place in the second annual Tissue Tactics Contest, sponsored by AdPack USA. AdPack challenged the creative community to use individualized tissue packs as their medium to create a unique and impactful marketing campaign. Street Dogs’ entry featured the Soldiers’ Angels Museum. Soldiers’ Angels is the largest non-profit group of its kind that supplies U.S. soldiers with items while they are stationed away from home. The winning tissue packs display the message “You will need these” with the objective of inviting communities to visit the organization’s museum.


Street Dogs set up a casino and green screen opportunity at the Pasadena Convention Center for a pre-bowl game VIP event. Approximately 1,700 attendees. Our Hangover green screen booth was the hottest thing at the event! We superimposed guests onto a scene from the movie. The movie’s characters were drunk and hungover, so the participants took it to heart. The later it got, the more outrageous it went. Guests were lying down on the floor like they were out cold, leaning on each other, etc. Lots of fun.

At the casino, guests played and tried to win prizes.

Warped Tour ‘09 was amazing this year and on behalf of Street Dogs, we would like to thank everybody who helped out and attended. Also, a special thanks for all the bands who gave extraordinary performances on the 46 day tour, which started on June 26th, 2009, in Pomona, California, and ended August 23, 2009, in Los Angeles. The tour has been going strong for fifteen years, so let’s keep it up for another fifteen years!
